Clubs & Activities at Houston Academy
At Houston Academy, we believe that learning extends beyond the classroom, and our diverse range of 23 clubs and activities allows students in grades 5-12 to explore their interests, develop leadership skills, and build lasting friendships. With opportunities in academics, arts, service, and leadership, students can engage in activities that fuel their passions while strengthening our Raider community. Whether competing in Scholars’ Bowl, strategizing in Chess Club, expressing creativity in Creative Writing, or diving into STEM challenges with Mathletes, there is something for every student to enjoy and excel in.
Each club is guided by dedicated faculty sponsors who provide mentorship, organization, and learning experiences beyond the traditional curriculum. Students can also participate in service and leadership organizations such as Student Government Association (SGA) and ENABLE, where they develop skills in teamwork, advocacy, and community engagement. Additionally, specialized interest clubs like Latin Club and Blue Zone offer unique cultural, social, and academic enrichment. With 23 active clubs, Houston Academy ensures that every student has the opportunity to get involved, discover new talents, and make the most of their school experience.
