Fall Sports

CHEER
The cheer program energizes game days and supports athletics. With Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School teams, it fosters athleticism, leadership, and Raider pride. Under Head Coach Amy Buntin, cheerleaders elevate school spirit through pep rallies and events.

CROSS COUNTRY
Competing in the AHSAA, the cross country program offers athletes in grades 7-12 the chance to develop endurance and compete at a high level. Led by Coaches Karrie Hart (Girls) and Matt Parker (Boys), the program emphasizes stamina, strategy, and teamwork to build a competitive legacy.

eSPORTS
The eSports team competes in competitive gaming, with athletes in grades 7-12, focusing on Rocket League. Under Head Coach Justin Horner, the program emphasizes strategic thinking, communication, and teamwork to excel in the world of eSports.

FOOTBALL
Competing at the 3A level in the AHSAA, the Raiders play home games at Northcutt Stadium in Westgate Park. With multiple playoff appearances and two State Runner-Up finishes, the team, led by Head Coach Eddie Brundidge, strives for success and continues to build its proud legacy.

SWIMMING
The swimming team competes in the AHSAA, welcoming athletes in grades 7-12. As a co-ed program, it offers opportunities for both boys and girls to develop skills, foster teamwork, and compete at a high level with a focus on growth and discipline.

VOLLEYBALL
Competing in the 3A classification of the AHSAA, the volleyball program includes Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School teams. Led by Head Coach Hannah Braswell, the Varsity team focuses on high-level competition. The Junior Varsity team, coached by Jeremy Langford, helps athletes progress to Varsity, while Middle School Coach Caroline Benton builds strong fundamentals.
Winter Sports

BASKETBALL
Competing in AHSAA 3A, the basketball program includes Varsity and JV teams for boys and girls. With a history of success, the program emphasizes skill development and competitive excellence, with a focus on team success.

BOWLING
Competing in AHSAA 3A, the bowling program features Varsity Girls and Boys teams for athletes in grades 7-12. Focused on skill development, competition, and teamwork, the Raiders strive for excellence in a supportive environment while fostering a love for the sport.

INDOOR TRACK
Competing in AHSAA 4A, the indoor track program includes Boys and Girls teams, focusing on speed, endurance, and technique. The Boys team, led by Coach Eddie Brundidge, emphasizes strength and agility, while the Girls team, under Coach Karrie Hart, has earned a State Championship and multiple individual titles. The program is dedicated to pushing athletes to reach their potential.
Spring Sports

BASEBALL
Competing in AHSAA 4A, the varsity baseball team plays at Northcutt Stadium and has a proud legacy with three State Championships and deep playoff runs. The program emphasizes skill, strategy, and tradition.

GOLF
Open to both boys and girls, the golf program focuses on technique, mental toughness, and championship-level play. Under Head Coach Don Jacobs, the team consistently develops top-tier talent and earns top finishes.

SOCCER
The varsity soccer program competes in AHSAA 1-3A with both girls and boys teams. Home matches at Westgate Soccer Complex showcase strong team culture, skillful play, and a history of playoff success.

SOFTBALL
Now competing at the 5A level, the softball program—led by Coach Sharon Cherry—has earned a State Championship and a Runner-Up finish. The team blends power, precision, and a winning tradition.

TENNIS
A powerhouse in AHSAA 6A, the tennis program includes Varsity and JV teams for both girls and boys. With multiple state titles, the Raiders continue to lead in competitive excellence and sportsmanship.
