We are the
HA Family

When you think of Houston Academy, you naturally think of a rigorous academic program with a more than 50-plus year track record of equipping students to succeed in college and in life. But the real difference in our school—and the reason families continue to choose us—is our close, tight-knit community. We call it the HA Family. Students are known individually by faculty, staff and each other.

"As a third-generation teacher at Houston Academy, where I studied for 13 years, I have a strong personal connection to the school. The same halls where I learned are now where I teach, making it feel like a second home. The Houston Academy community is committed to learning and creates a sense of belonging and growth for students and teachers."

"I am privileged to be part of the HA family as both a parent and a teacher. I care deeply about my students' academic and personal growth and have peace of mind knowing that my children's teachers do, too.  I am so grateful for the experienced staff and the environment in which my children are thriving."

"Being both a parent and a teacher at Houston Academy is wonderful. It is a challenge of perseverance each day—not just in my own work teaching science, but inspiring both my children and all my students to push through challenges, learn from inevitable setbacks, and grow each day!"
