Houston Academy will be restructuring its volleyball coaching staff to help solidify needs in the overall program. Hannah Braswell will assume the duties of Varsity Head Coach and will be assisted by Coach Jeremy Langford. Coach Braswell brings a wealth of volleyball knowledge and coaching experience from her stops at Dothan High as well as here at Houston Academy. “As our new head coach, Hannah’s passion for the game and love of this school and her student athletes will be evident in her attention to detail in leading our program.”
Jeremy Langford will move from the Middle School Head Coach position to Varsity Assistant Head Coach.
“Coach Langford, with his knowledge and coaching skills will be valuable in assisting Coach Braswell in creating a new standard of excellence for our varsity volleyball program.”
Caroline Powell, HA graduate and current learning specialist here, will move from assistant middle school coach to Head Junior Varsity Coach and when available, will assist with the varsity duties. The Middle School Head Coach position will be named at a later date. “I am confident the restructuring of our volleyball staff will greatly improve the entire program! In my many conversations throughout our search process, it was obvious that we are so fortunate to have these individuals already here that love our school and our student athletes. Join me in welcoming and supporting these individuals in their new roles as they will surely take our program to a higher level!
