HudsonAlpha Institute of Biotechnology Peanut Breeding Project with HA students – Part 2

Students participating in the genomics-driven plant breeding program extracted DNA from their previously planted peanut seedlings. The DNA samples were sent to HudsonAlpha for sequencing. The HudsonAlpha team will return in October when students will learn how to use the DNA sequencing data to predict plant traits. Students will analyze their peanut plant data and will make recommendations on which plants should be used for the next set of crosses in the peanut breeding project. #WeAreHA
