Spelling Bees, sponsored by Scripps Howard, promote spelling and vocabulary practice. The Big Brother/Big Sister program pairs students in the upper grades with students in the lower grades for special activities throughout the year. Fifth and sixth grade students volunteer for the Television Production Team and produce and direct a television show each Friday morning for Lower School students. Curriculum-driven field trips enhance learning in all grades on a regular basis. Grandparents' Day is held annually for grandparents/grandfriends of 3P-6th grade students. Students participate in community service projects led by faculty members. Music concerts, Christmas sing-a-longs, fun runs, field days, and many other student activities contribute to the educational experience.
