Art is everywhere, except it has to pass through a creative mind. Louise Nevelson
Thanks to advancements in technology we now have the world in vivid color at our finger tips. Long gone are the days of having to rely on one’s imagination and creativity to mentally play out a scene from our favorite radio show. While these wonderful inventions have opened numerous new avenues in education, a number of our young people have become dependent on television, video games, and the internet for their entertainment. Many children have lost some of their spontaneity and, in many cases, their desire for self-expression. Visual Arts education offers students an opportunity to reconnect with these traits in a user friendly environment.
