The Long Range Planning Committee developed our strategic plan, Building on Success, which provides an actual roadmap for how Houston Academy will develop over the next several years.

This plan is inclusive: the planning committee was comprised of representatives from the entire school community - Participation by parents, faculty, administration, student groups, and alumni shaped its goals. The plan is comprehensive: it addresses the full range of Academics and Instruction, Enrollment and Admissions, Facilities, Student Life, Communications and Community Relations, Governance, Faculty Support, and Finance. The plan is also achievable: each goal has a realistic timeline and strategy for implementation. Finally, the plan is visionary: it anticipates the forces, challenges, and opportunities that will impact the education of our children well into the future.
